It’s no surprise that, unlike previous years, the Marvel Games department is allowed to operate independently from other branches. Gone are the days when everything needed to be tied to the Кинематическая вселенная Marvel. Бета Рэй Билл is such an obscure character that’s been out of the spotlight for years that it had fans scratching their heads at seeing such a bizarre design.
Who Is Beta Ray Bill?
Quick short summary of who Бета Рэй Билл is: in the Вселенная Marvel, he is the first being that’s not part of Norse mythology to be worthy of wielding Молот Тора, Мьёльнир.
Despite his looks, he is a hero who is often on the right side of the law. After clashing with Тор, they came to an agreement that the Son of Odin would keep Mjolnir, Однако, Бета Рэй Билл would get his very own weapon: Громобой. Yes, the same axe that MCU Тор uses to behead Thanos in Эндшпиль originally belonged to Билл в комиксах.
Another neat surprise the SDCC reveal trailer dropped on fans is the appearance of two iconic villains: Galactus и Хела. While the main threat of the game is Аннигил, it looks like he’ll recruit the help of some serious firepower to wreak havoc across the universe.
The trailer showcases a bit more of the locations players will be able to explore, including a trip to Asgard, duking it out on the Bifrost, as well as a planet being consumed by Galactus where you’ll have to face a legion of Часовые.
